1. Both my father and I like it a lot. both…and… 表示“既……又……, 两者都……”。当其连接两个并列主语时, 其谓语应用复数形式 . 例如:
Both his father and his mother are working in a key senior high school.他的父亲和母亲都在重点高中工作。
2. Neither my mother nor my father likes it, but I like it a lot .
neither… nor… 表示 “既不…… 也不……, 两者都不……” 。其反意词组是both…and…当 neither… nor… 连接两个主语时, 谓语动词应与邻近的主语在人称和数上保持一致。例如:
Neither she nor I have seen the film. 我和她都没有看过这部电影。
